Our fast growing IT Company is looking to hire a Marketing Administrative Assistant to support the the delivery of our key sales, marketing and Public Relations objectives. This individual will report directly to the President and will be responsible for supporting any and all needs to increase their efficiency and organization. This position will require more than what your typical Administrative Assistant is asked to do - from handling inside sales to potentially meeting with a client on the President’s behalf.
Duties Include but are not limited to:
- Provide administrative support for marketing and sales
- Coordinate basic clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, data entry, produce email messages, letters, reports, and presentations, create flyers, advertisements, event releases, announcements
- Gather, organize, and maintain current marketing materials
- Developing sales brochures and articles
- Develop internal and external sales strategies and promotions
- Facilitate appointments, meetings, conference calls
- Editor and main author of monthly newsletter - Designing and distribution of monthly newsletter
- Handling inside sales calls
- Staying abreast of all on-going projects, correspondence and client status on a daily basis
- Prepare routine and advanced correspondence to clients including proposals, letters, memoranda, and reports, over the phone, in writing or in person as necessary
- Prepare Welcome Packets to new and prospective clients
Job Requirements:
- 3 years administrative/customer service experience required
- Strong attention to detail and absolute focus on quality of work
- Excellent written, verbal & customer service skills
- High level of commitment and flexibility
- Professional phone manner for answering client inquiries and responding to their needs promptly
- Must be highly organized, motivated, quick learner, methodical, articulate and excellent in multi-tasking
- Must be a team player, able to apply initiative and able to work independently
- Must be ready to take on a wide array of roles in a small office environment
- Excellent computer skills - including MSOffice, Outlook and other applications
- Some bookkeeping experience a big plus - QuickBooks preferred
- Familiar with a variety of the technology concepts, practices, and procedures
- Ability to meet tight deadlines is essential
