Brief Biography: 

Steven Freidkin is President and Founder of Ntiva, Inc., headquartered in McLean, VA. After starting his first IT consulting company in high school and furthering its efforts during his college career at the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland, his love for technology and natural customer service skills became evident and provided the key contribution to its success. In late 2004, he began hiring staff in order to build a more diverse technical backbone. Growing simply via word of mouth, he successfully leveraged value of service with a true understanding of his client’s business needs. Today, Ntiva, Inc. has over 25 full-time engineers that share a common goal of providing bottom-line drive technical value for his clients. Mr. Freidkin and Ntiva are responsible for the IT strategy and support for small businesses and several companies with over $100 million of annual revenue. Jonathan Galentine was the founder and Vice President of Nexpoint Technologies, a Virginia based web hosting company he advanced from the first customer to over 10,000 worldwide.  Jonathan chose Ntiva for his next endeavor, after successfully leading the multi-million dollar acquisition of Nexpoint in 2008.   As director of technical operations, he strives to keep Ntiva on the cutting edge while developing solutions that save clients time and money.  Jonathan holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Virginia Tech, where he focused on parallel computation and algorithm design.

Jeffrey H. Schneider, “Jeff” to his colleagues and friends, is a senior executive with over three decades of recognized leadership experience, a sustained record of excellence in managing government and corporate contracts, operational and legal matters for clients of all sizes including Fortune 50 technology leaders.  Jeff has senior relationships with national and international law firms and with CEOs and Board Members of enterprises throughout the United States.  Jeff has been engaged in community service throughout his career, a one-time Montgomery County EMT and now a member of the US Coast Guard Auxiliary.

Jeff began his government procurement career as a member of the Navy’s Office of the General Counsel where he assisted Navy personnel during every phase of the procurement process of various contract types including the creation of the RFP; participation in the proposal evaluation process; negotiating contract award documents; counseling Navy Contracting Officers regarding matters of contract interpretation and administration including evaluation and negotiation of change orders; analysis of contractor claims for reimbursement for work allegedly required to be performed outside of the contract statement of work; contract close out; and litigation.  As part of his OGC responsibilities he advised clients about procurement ethics issues and provided contract compliance training.

After leaving Navy OGC Jeff supported Digital Equipment Corporation, in their Office of the General Counsel, and Trusted Information Systems, Network Associates and GTECH, in their respective Operations offices, providing advice and counsel in support of business units focused on bidding and winning direct or indirect public sector opportunities with federal, state, local agencies and educational institutions.  In that capacity he assisted clients in the preparation of their responses to all manner of direct and indirect (prime contractors, VARs, system integrators, etc.) solicitations; drafted and negotiated NDAs, MOUs, teaming and joint venture agreements; drafted and negotiated contract terms and conditions including Intellectual Property rights; analyzed and drafted change orders; evaluated and settled contract claims; and performed contract close out activities.  Jeff was often called upon to negotiate contract issues with suppliers of materials and services.  In his Operations capacity he assisted in-house and outside counsel engaged in litigation and Alternative Disputes Resolution on an “as needed” basis.

Damon Degner is the Assistant Director of Operations at Ntiva, Inc.  Damon graduated from the University of Maryland Baltimore County with a B.S. in Information Systems focusing on networking.  In 1999, Damon entered the realm of Information Systems, engineering WAN solutions for the U.S. air traffic system.  He has also provided enhancements to the Civil Aviation Administration of China's air traffic network in Beijing.  He has provided systems engineering solutions & training to a multitude of clients around the globe.  He has worked in China, South Korea, India, Mexico, Germany, & Belgium.  Today, Damon focuses on his clients satisfaction & their IT infrastructures, from design to implementation to support.

Damon is a very proud father of 2 daughters.  He is also a PADI certified Rescue Diver & holds a Private Pilot Certificate.

Brief Biography: 

Michael Freidkin is the director of Help Desk at Ntiva.   Always intrigued by computers since early childhood, he learned his skills by trial and error.  As technology improved, his knowledge subsequently grew hand in hand with technology’s growth.  After his education, he spent many years in Fine Dining where he not only honed his skills as a talented Chef, but continued his education in technology by learning Micros systems and administering the network at his restaurant with the help of the talented staff at Ntiva.   While in the restaurant industry, along with his computer skills, he gained skills by managing a staff of 10, designing and maintaining a constantly changing menu and honed his communication skills by passing his knowledge of food to both his staff in the kitchen and the front of house staff.   His love for computing still perpetuated to the point where he left the Restaurant industry and joined Ntiva as a help desk technician.  After a couple years of learning how Ntiva does things, and further honing his skills, the next logical step was management.  After taking the reigns of directing the help desk, the staff has increased to 5 employees and the growth and efficiency of the help desk has improved greatly.  With 12 years management experience along with being Watchguard and Symantec certified, he looks forward to watching both the help desk and Ntiva continue to grow.

                                                      Brief Biography: 

Bob Hoff joined Ntiva in 2008. As Controller, he leads and directs Ntiva's financial operations, including external and internal financial reporting, accounting operations, and budget management functions.

Mr. Hoff has more than 20 years in Accounting/Finance and Administration management arena. Prior to joining Ntiva, Hoff was Vice President and Controller of the USO, a private, nonprofit international organization, with more than 135 centers worldwide whose mission is to support the troops by providing morale, welfare and recreation-type services to our men and women in uniform. During his tenure with the USO Hoff is credited with centralizing the financial and budgeting operations as well as streamlining the annual audit process and tax return preparation.

Hoff holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Salisbury and a Masters in Business Administration from Marymount University.

                                                    Brief Biography: 

Andrea Closkey started her career as a Systems Administrator for NCR and AT&T.  After building a strong technical base, she joined the Washington Post Companies in the late 90s, eventually turning her focus on network security and administration for the newly formed Digital Ink, known now as the washingtonpost.com.
 
Her love of technology, couple with strong business sense and people skills, propelled her into technical management in 2000.  She took over as the Infrastructure Manager of the washingtonpost.com as it grew from small 700K daily page view site to one of the top news sites on the web.  After a year hiatus, to pursue her personal passion in wine and received her Sommelier Degree, she returned to her love of problem solving found in technology.  She took over the role of Director of Software Engineer for MAXjet Airways and helped build their e-commerce platform and reservations system.
 
Having knowledge and experience in both infrastructure and software development, she joined Ntiva in March of 2008 to assist in its' technical growth and streamline processes within the company.  She now oversees the Project Management department, working to improve the overall project strategies and implementations.

Sean O'Sullivan has been a part of the Ntiva, Inc. team since 2007 and is currently the Director of Managed Services. Since graduating from the University of Delaware he has held multiple positions in different divisions of the company, starting as part of the invaluable Ntiva helpdesk.   His ability to troubleshoot and problem solve quickly and effectively makes him a great asset to both Ntiva, Inc. and his clients.  Sean's passion for investigating the newest technologies and his commitment to finding the proper IT solutions for each individual client has inspired his upward progression in the company. His enthusiasm has helped shape his attitude and desire to aid in network engineering.  Sean is committed to both co-workers and clients in order to enhance the Ntiva product and help make IT as efficient and seemless as possible.

Shaun Frisbee has extensive experience in creating custom designed software for organizations utilizing Microsoft .NET technologies and Microsoft SQL Database engines. Shaun Frisbee is a veteran of the US Armed Forces and has spent time overseas where he provided support for government initiatives. He is experienced with project planning tools and is responsible for managing projects and ensuring efficient and effective progress and outcomes. He holds his bachelor of science degree in computer information systems and his masters degree in information systems management.

Ranferi Rabiela is the Assistant Director of Software Development at Ntiva, Inc.  Ran graduated from the Monterrey Tech in Mexico with a B.S. in Information Systems focusing on Software Engineering. He is also a award winning graphic designer. He is an ASP & PHP specialist with experience designing, integrating, developing and deploying custom software solutions. Design experience includes logo and template development to assist businesses with developing their corporate image, integrated marketing/branding, and website/application appearance and overall effectiveness.

He is an overall enthusiastic and accomplished Software Developer with over seven years of international experience based in Washington, DC, with an additional seven years professional experience in Mexico. Proven success developing, implementing, and managing solutions to help increase efficiency and productivity in a fast-paced, international environment. Possesses the skills and the technical know-how to support, maintain, enhance, and innovate a wide range of IT services. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills that allow users to focus on their projects, not on their computers.

Ranferi was responsible for the development and implementation of software solutions for the Mexican Ministry of Foreign Affairs.  He improved the security and service of Mexican Passport Issuance; this project won the 2nd Place of the INAP (Instituto Nacional de Administración Publica) and the INNOVA 2002 Awards for Mexican Federal Government innovation. Completed the Ministry’s key software projects with an excellence level in 2002 and 2003. Sean Kelly is the Cabling Services Manager and a Systems Administrator for Ntiva and its clients. He has spent over 20 years exhibiting his love for computers and electronics through hard work and experimentation. After his education, he joined the Navy and worked on the Ohio class submarines as a navigations equipment electrician.  He has also worked as an electronics technician for Linearizer Technology, Inc.  At Ntiva he is able to practice his passion daily and is responsible for the success and growth of their installations team.

Bryan has more than 12 years experience in the Information Technology field and executive management. He currently serves as Director of Ntiva’s West Coast Operations but maintains a hands-on involvement while leading a variety of projects.
Prior to joining Ntiva Inc. Bryan was the founding partner and CEO of MBA Computer Consultants a California based end- to end- IT solutions provider.  Bryan oversaw the successful merger between Ntiva Inc. and MBA Computer Consultants. After joining Ntiva he leveraged his vast experience in the Information Technology field across multiple disciplines and has brought a depth of, technical skills and management capabilities to the organization.
