Ntiva, headquartered in McLean,Va is currently accepting applications for a Project Manager. The Project Manager will be responsible for development, design and implementation of new Ntiva client service projects. The position will be responsible for running multiple, cross-functional, small to mid size projects simultaneously
Position Responsibilities:
- Reviewing, evaluating, formulating, and executing project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Conducting all necessary meetings to facilitate selection of project services and products.
- Planning and overseeing the preparation and dissemination of all project communications.
- Assembling project plans and teamwork assignments, directing and monitoring work efforts on a daily basis, identifying resource needs, performing quality review and escalating functional, quality timeline issues appropriately.
- Leading and directing teams to meet objectives.
- Tracking key project milestones and adjusting project plans and/or resources accordingly to meet the needs of customers.
- Oganizing and managing all phases of the project to ensure on-time completion.
- Working with clients to coordinate project systems testing, installation, training, and support.
- Maintaining high quality standards and meeting customer expectations.
- Providing input on employee performance evaluations and objectives.
- Managing one or more cross-functional projects of medium to high complexity. Projects may have medium to significant enterprise-wide impact.
- Guiding and performing strategic analysis for new projects.
- Other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
- Excellent written, oral communication and organizational skills.
- Thorough knowledge of information technology applications, processes, software and equipment.
- Thorough knowledge of project management concepts, practices, and techniques.
- Thorough knowledge of project management life cycle, methodologies, and support tools (MS Project, Service Center).
- Thorough knowledge of resource management practices and change management techniques.
- Thorough knowledge and experience in cross-functional project management methods and techniques.
- Excellent ability to synthesize project information and establish the appropriate scope of a project.
- Excellent ability to foster working relationships within team and client departments to build consensus.
- Excellent ability to communicate effectively with senior management.
- Excellent ability to create new work flow processes.
Experience, Education, and Certification Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or other related discipline.
- One to Three years of IT/Project Management Experience.
- Project Management Professional Certification or equivalent preferred (not required).
